[This app] lays the ground work for learning to read because as the narrator talks, the words in the sentence she is reciting light up...Overall I’d give this my thumbs up. And so does my girl. She now pesters me to see the letters every time we get in the car...

Letter Buddies AlphaBooks is a simple-to-use, but remarkably deep app for preschoolers. The child starts with a screen of the letters, each in their own character (such as "Bright B"), presses on a letter of their choice and are taken to a 13-page book for each letter...I don't know of any other preschool app offering anything close to 338 pages...

I was contacted by the creators of the Letter Buddies AlphaBooks App to do a review for my readers! I am always a fan of good kid apps, so I jumped all over it. I am very happy that I did! My two year old loves to change the pages on the books, and she enjoys seeing the pictures, so I would say it's a hit...

When introduced to Bubbles, she was rather captivated. It is on a iPhone after all! That, plus the colourful images and familiar letters that could talk made it even more entertaining. I really like the personification of the letters, and Bubbles is at a stage where something like that is particularly compelling...

As a certified reading teacher, I was very intrigued with an application for younger children that begins to introduce early reading skills. We decided to try our letter F first. I think it is a great app because it really helps kids associate letters with words. My 4 year old son is learning his letters and by showing a picture of an item and showing the word at the bottom it is helping him associate letters and words...

This app really has it all for the beginning reader! This is a perfect app for C! She's almost 4 and will be going to preschool next year. She's so curious about letters and words, and she's really intrigued by the AlphaBooks. They are fun and simple and very child-oriented...

If Red Ted (3yrs) likes it, it gets the thumbs up. And does he like it? He loves it! I quite like the repetitiveness of the structure, as I do think it assists learning. It also uses a combination of the cartoon letters and real photos, nicely edited and brought together....

Perfect for kids 2-6 who are learning foundational vocabulary and starting to grasp simple sentence structures necessary for becoming independent readers. Sure there might be other apps with a more elaborated interfaces, but few are built from such experience and and with such depth...

I had the honor of reviewing a great app for kids on my iPad! Well actually Hunter got to review it and I just watched him enjoy it. The Letter Buddies AlphaBooks app is wonderful, you may think you are just getting one book. But your really getting a book for each letter of the Alphabet (X, Y, Z, combined in one book...)
